Good Present
This is a great present to have students make to give to friends and or realtives. My day care kids did them as birthday presents.

FLIP FLOP PILLOWS - PRETTY AND WORTH THE MONEY
The designs on the pillows I received were centered, and all the fringes were cut out. My guests are going to have so much fun putting them together. I don't think there is enough fiber fill, but it is easy enough to buy a bag.

Some changes in 2 1/2 years...
This item has gone through some changes in 2 1/2 years--and not for the better. We did these as a craft for my older daughter's birthday party at the YMCA pool a few years ago. The girls had fun and they turned out well. There was no problem with the amount of fiberfill (which was thicker in consistency), nor with the design being off-center.
I read the recent reviews and am glad I did. My younger daughter had a pool party at the Y and chose to make these. The product is VERY different now. You'll need to order an extra set to replace the sets with off-center patterns. Bring scissors to cut the ties which are not cut all the way through, and some extra fiberfill. The fleece material is not as thick now. I know this because we had 4 sets left over from 2 1/2 years ago and it was easy to see--and feel--the difference in quality.
The resulting pillows are still cute and make a party favor that the girls will use.
One note: Both times we used this were for an 8 year-old birthday party. Putting the pillow together was difficult for some of the girls, even though they can all tie knots at this age. It's a good idea to have some "helpers" so that they don't get as easily frustrated.

Cute, but ....!
We used the pillows as a craft during my daughter's 10th birthday party sleepover. Luckily for me, I bought two sets. The design was not always centered and one pillow was completely unusable because there was only half of the design. The girls commented on how soft they were so I was happy about that. You will need to buy additional stuffing to make them fuller. The fabric strips are thin and stretch a lot when tying the knots on the sides...

FLEECE FLIP FLOP TIED PILLOW
I LIKED THE PRODUCT. I LIKE DOING THESE KINDS OF CRAFTS BUT THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS THAT THERE ISN'T ENOUGH FIBERFULLING. GET ALITTLE BIT MORE TO PUT WITH THE PRODUCT AND THEN I THINK THAT YOU WILL HAVE SOME VERY HAPPY CUSTOMERS.

add stuffing, beware, but good product overall
Our daughters loved making these at their slumber party, and it was good that I read reviews so knew of three possible problems (that we also had). First, I agree with all of those who said that not enough stuffing is included. Even when you follow instructions and stuff little bits at a time, you still need more. So I simply had a big bag of "fiberfill" from a fabric/craft store, and I added to what the girls used. The second problem is that one of the fabric pieces didn't have the tabs properly cut... the tabs were actually sliced off. A scissors fixed this. The third problem was that one of the pillows had the flipflop pattern partly cut off... one of my daughters used this as her own, and it wasn't a problem.
So... if you purchase this kit, make certain to open the bags and look at all six of the kits, all twelve of the fabric pieces, to make sure they will work. And add more stuffing. :)

Almost a disaster!
I bought these for my daughter's birthday party. Most of the fleece was not cut properly and needed to be recut and some of the flip flop prints were so off center they couldn't be seen after tying. There was not nearly enough stuffing.

Cute--not perfect
Pillows are cute, but do not come with enough stuffing. I will have to supplement some stuffing to actually fill the pillow!
