Great little crafty turkey I bought these last year or 2 years ago and thought they made a great gift. This year I bought them for creating and holding for the 2012 church bazaar. Relatively inexpensive when bought on sale, makes 6 so quantity not too bad. Only draw back is may want a bit more stuffing but overall. easy craft for an adult and cute to have for holiday. Cute Turkeys. Worked well with 7-8 yr olds. My group of 14 2nd Grade Girls did quite well making these turkeys. I did glue on the beak, eyes, waddle, feet, head and wings though. My girls could've done that part easily enough they just wouldn't have had time to complete the craft in one hour if they did all that. All in all... extremely cute. I used Tacky Glue for everything including the buttons and it worked well. :) November 22, 2011

Cute and Funnish I bought these to make for Thanksgiving so my kids would have something to do the day before Thanksgiving when we are all home and driving each other nuts! Well, they were too anxious to wait, so I pulled this out last night. I learned that my kids do not know how to tie knots! Uh-oh--they are 7 and 5, so now we have six turkeys to practice knots on! My husband and I tried to work with them on it, but they got bored pretty quickly, so we finished the tying. The kids did like stuffing the turkeys and loved gluing the buttons on. I handled the glue; they placed the buttons. It would be faster for me to do all the knot-tying myself, but I think I want them to get this skill mastered (esp. my seven-year-old!) so I think I'll just have them do one a day until we're finished. The finished project is cute and does not take long if your crafters know how to tie knots! If they don't know how, this is a cute little craft to practice on (though there are so many ties that it would be too hard/much for small children). November 21, 2011

Very Cute Craft Project! This kit is easy and turned out very cute. I purchased them for a senior crafting group at my Mom's Assisted Living Home. Great for keeping aging fingers moving! August 16, 2011
