Fun springy project
I enjoyed this project. The only complaint I had was the flowers did not hold well which I expected since I read the reviews before I made the purchase. I made a flower bouqet and I wrapped the green stems around some pens and stuck them in the bucket and I have them sitting at the front desk of my work place. I would definatly recommend buying something else to hold the flowers up. Other than that I think this would make a cute Mother's Day gift.

not a ready to assemble kit
We got this kit for our Daisy Troop to make for Mother's Day. The kit does not tell you that you have to add your own floral foam and floral picks to get this project to work. The foam flowers are way too heavy to be supported by a single chennille stem. The "grass" sticks to everything and does not fill the bucket tot support the flowers. It's a great idea but very difficult to put together. The kit needs to specify that additional craft supplies are necessasary to complete it properly.

Good choice
I purchased these for our Brownie Troop to make as gifts for their mothers for our annual Valentine Tea Party. When reading previous reviews I made sure I had more realistic grass and styrofoam to hold up the flowers. I also purchased flower picks so that we could wrap the chenille stems around them to hold in the styrofoam better. They came out great! The colors were vibrant and the flowers/leaves had precut cross slices in the center so the chenille stem went through with no problem. I am a fan of glue dots so we used those instead of glue to hold the button center. The girls, ages 6-7, had no problem making these. We tied the ribbon to the handle because it wouldn't stay on the pot. We decorated with Valentine Foam stickers instead of the dots provided. I will defninitely buy again!

A nice Mother's Day craft
The overall design was great, but two things were amiss. 1) The green wires were too weak for holding up flowers in the position you want them. So I bought those green wires from local Michael's craft store as substitutes, and it held up those flowers really well.
2) Those foam leftovers do not hold flowers in the pot very well, so I used my Oasis (the green blocks that hold up water for real flowers) and cut them in blocks that fits into the pot. Then I was able to arrange those flowers the way I wanted it.
Other than those, it was nice craft products.

Bouquet Craft Kit
The baskets came out cute, but the flowers didn't stand up well. The kit should come with some kind of florist's clay to keep the flower's up instead of the dots on the bucket. The "grass" was difficult to work with, too.
