Good product although must plan out
I purchased these for my son's jungle animal themed birthday party. The children (mostly 3-5 year olds) enjoyed making them, although a lot of adult help was needed with the foam glue. Also, I had not thought about adequate time to let the masks dry before the children would be able to wear them. The party lasted 2 hours and most of the masks were still not dry when they left the party. Assembling some parts of the mask ahead of time would have been a great idea.
I would recommend this product although if I had this particular situation to do over again, with the time I was allowed, I would purchase the preassembled masks or assemble parts of them ahead of time.

Great for all ages.....
I purchased 72 masks for two after school VBS classes. The children, ages 5-11 all loved the masks. I put them together and told the Noah's Ark story while they were the animals on the ark! What fun and they stayed together while the kiddos played with them all afternoon. Wonderful craft and well worth the money.

Needs glue
When buying these I thought they were self adhesive parts, my bad. The masks require glue to put them together, luckily I ran to the store and got some before the party started. However, the masks were not flat because of shipping an the glue did not keep the pieces together, they needed to be placed under something heavy to flatten them, which was not feasible at a party. Maybe I missed the part that stated these masks require glue but I have used other masks from Oriental Trading that have sticker parts to put together and assumed these were the same. I would not recommend as a quick party craft.

Good, but not great
I ordered two packages of these masks for my two year olds birthday party. Well, I guess you get what you pay for! At least 10 of the masks had the oriental stamp on the front and the back! So, some kids had the lovely stamp in the middle of their masks!(Very tacky!) As I was putting them together one of the elephants had no trunk. So I had to improvise and make my own! Good thing I'm creative! They were cheap and cute! At least the kiddos loved them!

A little work before you do the craft
I used these for kindergarten at VBS. If you use foam glue allow drying time preferably overnight. Some kids used glue sticks and that worked just as well with less drying time. We preglued (with glue dots) the lion's mane and the monkey's ears. The string goes through these and would probably pull off if just glued with foam glue/glue stick.

No complaints here
I needed an activity for my girls for the summer, and I let them do a mask a day and they are having so much fun with them. I'm not big on letting them do everything, so I put the glue on the pieces and then showed them were to put them, they loved it, and they look great.

animal masks
I ordered these for my son's birthday party. The kids had to have a lot of help making them. The kids wanted to wear them right away, but of course had to wait for the glue to dry. Making the masks was the first party activity and most guests were able to wear their mask before the party was over, but the monkey masks took longer. The monkeys were the only ones I would not suggest using. Since the elastic string attaches by the ears, (which have to be glued on) it comes apart too easily. A crying little monkey at your b-day party doesn't make for merriment. As long as you have time to let them dry well the masks are a nice keepsake, just don't expect to be able to make them and wear them within a 2 hour party.
