A Great Craft
I have used this craft every year in my fourth grade class. We use hot glue guns for the craft sticks. I don't mind the glitter as I control the mess by using two pie plates to sprinkle it back and forth. Usually, the shells are whole. As with most O. T. crafts, some of the pieces might be missing from some of the kits, but for this craft it doesn't seem crucial, and some students don't use all of their pieces anyway. I am in a Christian school where the whole school studies the ocean for a week, so this is a perfect tie-in for me.

Good project for most ages
Used this craft for VBS. The wee ones needed help to assemble, but ages 6 and up didn't need much help. Having one cross made up for an example to look at was useful. A lot of small parts. Plenty of shells and bows for decorations. Used tacky glue and allowed one day for drying. A nice keepsake or gift.

Beautiful Idea but ....
I was very excited to use the "Footprints Cross Craft Kit" for our Sunday School class for Special Needs students. The kit looked wonderful and the instructions were quite clear. Unfortunately, the sticks, shells and raffia bows kept falling off and required more "flat time" than we had to give in our classroom situation. I believe that this kit would have been much easier to use if the sticks, shells and raffia bows had been self-adhesive. The finished result was beautiful if you can allow extra drying time and use craft glue instead of glue sticks or Elmer's glue.

VBS kids loved this craft!
Purchased this craft for 1st thru 5th grade VBS children. They loved it! Children got creative with the placement of shells, raffia, and "footprints".

CUTE ITEM BUT HARD TO STAY TOGETHER
This is a very cute project but a little difficult for the children to put together. It is time-consuming but is gorgeous when put together. -- DO NOT USE GLUE STICKS. Use bottle glue or craft glue. I love this poem! The shells, sand, and footprints really make the poem stand out. VERY CUTE!

Pretty good craft idea
I liked it... but, the shells are a whole lot smaller than I had thought or it had appeared.
