Give Thanks Scrapbook Page Idea

If you need a dash of scrapbook inspiration after all that Thanksgiving turkey, then you’re sure to give thanks to these easy-to-follow instructions for our Give Thanks Scrapbook Page. With flourishes that are sure to complement your cherished family photo, this is sure to be one page you’ll always stop on to recall fond memories as you enjoy your album.1. Choose a paper for your background and attach it to the 12" x 12" cardstock. 2. Select a contrasting paper and cut a 3 ½” x 12” strip; attach across the top of the page.3. Attach your decorative border where the 2 papers join.4. Choose 2 coordinating papers (or journal cards) and cut to 3 ½” x 2 ½”. Trim the corners with a decorative punch, if you like. Offset them at an angle and attach to the left side of the page.5. Select a 5" x 7" Thanksgiving photo. Trim these corners also with a decorative punch, if you like.6. Choose 2 coordinating papers and cut them 7 ¾” x 5 ¾” and 7 ¼” x 5 ¼”. Layer them to make a frame and attach your photo. Attach all just right of the center of your page.7. Draw or stencil 2 flourishes on contrasting paper, one large and one medium size. Cut them out and place the medium one around the journal cards. Attach the larger one across the bottom right corner of your photo with pop-up Glue Dots® to add dimension.8. Hand letter or stencil a title across the top of the page; add a quotation by hand (or use a sticker) near the bottom left corner of the page.
