Glow-in-the-Dark Sand Art Tombstones
We used these this past Sunday in Sunday School as a hands-on activity to tie in with our discussion of Communion of Saints/All Saints & All Souls days. Students grades 3-8 enjoyed them. Large size, plenty of sand provided. Younger ones needed some assistance getting peeling of paper started, but did fine on own once begun. We coupled this with students creating their own epitaths as to how they would like to be remembered for the way they lived their lives while on earth. Very effective way to tie religious and secular celebrations of day together.
