Great for Glow-in-the-Dark Kickball
I bought these for my glow-in-the-dark kickball team. As long as you remember to charge them, they work great!

Looks like they work
Got these for an upcoming party. After reading the other reviews, I didn't open the package, but set the whole thing on the windowsill in the sun for several hours. That night I secretly checked them in the closet and they were glowing a nice bright green. They look awesome. Didn't time them to see how long it lasts, but I'm pleased and excited for the kids.

Hottest Prize
We gave these out as a prize for a game, and it was influential in getting the kids to play the game. We should have bought more.

These glasses were a hit!
Ordered these glasses for my daughter's 16th birthday blacklight party. They were amazing! Teens LOVED them!

So Sad
We bought these glasses for a prom. We thought it would like nice having glow in the dark glasses in the dim lit room. What a disappointment. I sat these glasses outside all day so they could charge and by the time the party started (3 hours later) they were NOT glowing. Such a waste of money. The kids had more fun with the necklaces. Going to call customer service and ask for at least a partial refund.

Great Buy
First Impression: When I first saw these I was a little disappointed b/c you could see air bubbles in the plastic. Granted I got these for 69 cents each (rounding up), & for kids around the ages of 3-12. Keeping that in mind, I could live with the little air bubbles.
Glow Test: Holding them up to a Fluorescent Bulb for a little over one minute they glowed super bright green for about ten minutes, before beginning to fade some. After about twenty minutes I needed to recharge them. To me that isn't bad for the price.
Material: These are a light opaque white/clear plastic infused with glow powder. The plastic is thick & flexible (flexible is good). The only mechanics to these are 2 screws. What more can you expect from glasses?
My Opinions: These are SILLY Glasses, they are NOT meant to protect your eyes from the sun. These glasses are meant for kids. I'd put the age range between 2-13 pushing 14. Remember with it being light plastic, the small screws can get stripped with hard play & potentially fall out. Adult Supervision is required when giving to small children ages 2-5. I would hope a 5 year old would know better, but with kids you just never know.
As for teens not liking them. Honestly it depends on the teen, as these are meant for being silly & having fun. I've seen different parties over the years where teens have enjoyed things like this, as well as older adults. Heck, my 89 year old grandmother enjoyed playing with these.
I'd expect that anyone at any age could have fun with these.

Awesome and Fun product
All of the kids loved these glasses. I originally bought them to be worn during laser tag. I decided to put them into the party bags instead because I was afraid that maybe the glasses would get in the way of their vision while playing laser tag. The kids just loved them! They wore them as soon as they got them. They have these glasses in colors too instead of glow in the dark. As a parent, I think I would have choosen the colored ones but my child (girl) automatically was drawn the glow in the dark feature ;)

I purchased them as a treat for their candy bags @ our Character Monster Mash Party two weeks ago.
