I bought these kits for my Girl Scout Brownie troop. The girls, ages 7-9, had a lot of fun making them. The only downside is the ribbon hanger. There's no way a bit of glue supports the finished project. We made small holes and tied the string instead. Also, some girls glued the bow to the turkey's head, instead of on the ribbon. It looked really cute there, and didn't keep falling off, like they were on the ribbon.

Bought this for my Cubbies at church (3 & 4 yr olds). It was a lot of hands on for teachers. Cute project but with paint, Elmer's glue and hot glue gun, it is a messy project! I used my 8 year old to do a sample project and his hands were to big to use both prints, so I just used one hand. I wish the project came with peal and stick foam pieces, that would be easier and quicker. With paint and glue, this is not an quick project. Will not use it again for this age.

Second Grade Students had a BLAST making their handprint birds and putting on their pieces (plus frame), but do not expect them to easily listen to directions and have picture perfect products. We needed more time than the 40 minutes given for the party with 20 kids. The two kits ordered were missing various products, however, they did come with extras, so estimate accordingly.
