Cool and spooky BUT don't cut the plastic hook
I bought this to add to the Halloween decorations we have for Halloween and our yearly kid's party. Haven't put the batteries in but looks spooky and cool. The one thing I wish I hadn't done was cut the plastic piece that looks like it is part of the packing when I opened the package. That is all there is to hang it with so don't cut it!!!!

Disappointed
I researched a lot of different outdoor Halloween decorations before purchasing the mummy. I thought that I was a getting a good deal. I was expecting a mummy that makes noise, shakes, and eyes light up when people get close.
I hung the mummy on my front porch so it could be shielded from the weather. Within a couple days, it was windy and raining. The head dis-attached during the first wind. Then, I realized that you had to be within 8" from the mummy's head to recognize that I person was there making sound. I didn't want trick or treater's to mess with the mummy, so I couldn't move it any closer to the door. I feel like the sensors should have been better and that it should have been better constructed so it could actually be used outdoors.

Spooky party guest
I purchased this to hang in front of our trellis beside our front door and it looks amazing there. The body collapses down to fit into a box for storage which made me worry, somtimes that makes them look cheesy when they are hung but not this guy. The way the frame is makes him look like a full body with arms and everything. The spiderweb wrapping is true packaged spiderwebs so he picks up leaves and stuff so I will have to clean him up before storing. the handing tab on the feet is just a little plastic loop so in the Iowa wind I reinforced it a bit with twine and glue. The sensor is not too sensitive so he doesn't go off all the time which is great and the moaning, shaking and glowing eyes are a great effect. Love him to bits.

spooky
I don't know if my sound works or not - for a week I've been enjoying the appearance in the light and the dark. It's spooky in both, especially with a black light.

Great Halloween Decoration
A bit pricey but a whole lot of fun, this mummy is one of the best things I've ever bought for Halloween decorating. It will work perfectly with my spider theme. Seven years ago I had bought a huge rubber spider from OTC, so when I saw this "guy," I knew they would go well together.
Fortunately my front porch has the perfect corner to be able to set this up outside where it will be protected from weather, especially wind.
The sound and eyes that light up work well. As far as the shaking goes, only the head is noticeable.
Compacts nicely for storage. I plan to store it in the plastic bag and box it came in.

Great prop
This is a cool prop for the price. I was expecting it to be more solid and wondering where I was going to store it but it collapses to a more manageable size.Very happy with purchase

Awesome!
This thing is life-sized and very cool. You have to be careful with it because it's wrapped in that cobweb stuff but that's also what makes it look realistic. So glad we got it!

Looks Great, Feels Flimsy
This looks really spooky hanging from a branch or porch beam. It works either turned on (with batteries) or as a display-only piece. The mummy is quite tall, realistic-looking, and makes a cool showpiece for any halloween display. Our theme is spiders, so the cobwebs work perfectly with the giant spider nearby.
The big drawback is that it is much flimsier than you would think from the image and description: It's basically the "skull" and a wire frame covered with cobweb netting - not a full-length mummy body wrapped in webs. It's nice for storage because it flattens down to only about a 6" x 18" pile, but I don't feel like it would hold up to rough weather/wind. You need to be quite careful unpacking and repacking it to avoid damage.

I have seen it in the Halloween store by my home for a little more money.
Looks good. Looks life size and colapes for easy storage. The only thing is i fear the spider web material will streach and become dirty with continuous wind.

Great for the price but wimpy movement
This will create a big effect when hanging from the tree in my front yard. I love the sound but the "shaking" movement is barely noticeable. That's OK since it's biggest impact is just the sight of it. Love that it collapses and stores into a small box.
