Fun with the Grandkids
I completed these frames with my two granddaughters ages 9 and 6. Although we all sat at the same table and chatted as we went along, both girls did the craft independently. We loved doing them and were very successful. I bought the special glue and I think that may be key. Put the parts together following the directions and be patient enough to wait until the glue dries and you will have really cute and usable foam frames. I have to admit, we decided as a trio not to use the stick on the left side of the frame, but the results were just as good.

Holiday Marshmallow Photo Frame
Frames are darling when finished; however, it took me 36 kits to put together 25 frames due to poor quality and missing pieces.
Also, lots of small pieces ... glue gun/glue dots are a must! If you are on a limited timeframe for a party, a lot of pre-assembly is necessary to complete the frames.

Messy glue project
I bought this as a class project for a holiday party and thought it was pre-adhesive...and it wasn't. It's a cute project that would be better if everything was peal and stick.

Class gifts
I read the reviews on this before my purchase. I knew there would be very small parts & require a hot glue gun. Armed & ready, my 7yr. old & I assembled 26 of these for her classmate's Christmas gifts. I took a picture of her & each child & put them in the frame. It was perfect for what we wanted & needed. It really made a cute gift! A little warning, it is not a one day project. It will take time & order extra because some parts will be missing.

disaster strikes a 3rd grade classroom
There are way too many pieces! Kits were missing parts of the foam snowman, which then I had to open other kits. The stick for the star is too much of a hassle. We had to do this in stages to let pieces dry. The directions are in too small of a font. It says for 5 and up, but don't even think of doing this with a kid under the age of 8.

Think Twice!
I purchased this without reading the reviews first. What a mistake that was! But I was ready, once I read the reviews and know what I'm getting myself into. Since I know I can't have my daughter's 2nd grade class doing this on their own.
Armed with a hot glue gun, I spend the next few evenings (I work during the day), assembling them together before the party. It took approximately 25 minutes to do each frame. Yeah, I would never do this again!

Very Cute
I bought these for a little project with my son's preschool class. I knew I would be doing most of the work, but I didn't think there would be so many little pieces. I actually only made a couple of these because there was just too many small pieces and they did take a while to complete. After going out and buying a hot glue gun, the process was a lot faster but that required me to finish them myself without the preschoolers assistance. We opted for the Gingerbread House frames which was a lot faster putting together and more up the kids alley.
After finishing these frames, they were absolutely adorable tho! Just more for older kids or adults.

not the best choice
I bought these kits for my 2nd & 3rd grade students. They required a glue gun and a separate purchase of glue dots to complete. The kits had way too many pieces- better off choosing the peel and stick type kits available. We decided to leave off the cake with confetti/star and the finished product looked less cluttered and super cute. Many kits were missing parts, mostly the pipe cleaner arms, so we left those off (out of necessity) as well. Some were even missing the face marshmallows, and the "spare parts bag" provided only contained 2 arms, a bunch of (unnecessary) confetti and a star. I worked with the students in groups of 6 and it took each group 25 minutes to complete, which is much longer than expected. One of the frames had the words printed sideways and actually ran off the frame and on another, the printing was smeared. Luckily I overbought by 6 kits and had some spare parts to make up the difference. Wondering where the quality control is with this???
