Nice with a few adjustments; Glue dots work well
After reading the reviews, I decided to give these a try with some reservation, but they turned out to be quite nice. Since there is no adhesive on the pieces, my group used glue dots (cut into halves) to assemble the craft. We attached the cord through holes poked in the horse's ears (through the head and hat as well). This prevented the horse from tipping. I don't know how long the tags would last with repeated use, but for a one-time event, they were fine and fun.

Cute Craft, But Impractical
I admit I was price motivated when I purchased these for my 7 year olds birthday party. They are probably simple enough, but they don't stay together without using a hot glue gun. I will be assembling them ahead of time and the kids will simply write their names on the nametag. I'm also not convinced they will stay upright when being worn as such...they seem very top heavy. OT should consider reducing horse size and adding self-stick adhesive.

Buy popsicle sticks, too
Bought these to be our name tags for VBS- after the 1st day, we had to swap out the cording (too scratchy on my students' necks) and hot glue a popsicle stick up the bback because all of the horse heads were falling over. And not coming with any adhesive, we used a glue gun and made these for the kids- didn't use them as a craft project.

good but not great!
If you are going to use them as name tags that go around the kids neck I would not buy these. They are really cute though and I ended up useing them where the kids sit. at the birthday party great for that. alot of stuff to put together. I used the string and beads for the gift bads. Worked out great!

Good & Bad
These name tags are so cute but they don't stick together for very long. We've had all sorts of problems trying to keep them together. The twine or rope doesn't stay on very well either. We ended up putting them on a folder as decorations and they look adorable.
