Great craft
I bought these for my daughter's 3rd birthday party. The paper was sturdy enough that even a bunch of 2-3 year olds with markers and paint brushes didn't destroy one. When the kids were done the moms all "finished" up. Fun, inexpensive little craft and take home for a hot air balloon themed party. Per another review, I did spot all the string knots with some fray check to keep them from coming untied.

Great fun buy for my tiny tots
I bought these as a family activity for me and my kids. They dont expand all the way but if you spray them with a water bottle you will be able to open them up to full expansion. I hung them up on baby hangers and put nail polish bottles in the basket to make sure they dried fully expanded. it only took a few minutes to do this. My kids cant wait to paint them, the girls are excited just looking at them. Definitely worth it!

cute but not exactly what i wanted
These decorative air balloons are great because you can decorate them yourself but they're very small. Obviously they give you a measurement before ordering them, but they were still much smaller than I had imagined. They don't really expand to full size very well either. But overall they're very cute decorations.

Good small project
Enjoyed decorating these paper hot air balloons. Used paint pens while doing this craft.

Cute project, kids and parents like it, easy to do
The 3 and 4 year old can color these with markers. If you want you can spray them with a little water, this makes the colors blend. We had the children color the top and bottom of the balloons, then opened them and had them color the sides. We also hold the basket open so they can color the basket sides. Is seems that as they are handled in coloring, the strings come loose from the baskets. I use a needle to poke the strings back in the holes and re-tie them. Or you can use new string. Last time I used a dot of "Fray-Check" on each knot and none of the strings came loose. Fray-Check is used in sewing and dries clear. You might try glue.
We have also taken a photo of the kids, with their arm up and waving. Take them from a distance and have sky in the background. We cut around the photo and put the photo in the basket, it looks like they are flying in the balloon! So cute. Parents love the project with or without the photo.
