Hula Girl Centerpiece
Great price & quality
i read the reviews before I purchased and was hesitant to buy. However, when I set them up the day of the party, they were perfectly fine. I had no problems keeping them up. It was easy to figure out how they need to stand. I'm not sure why the others had problems.

Cute but won't stand
I was very excited about this little hula girl and it was very cute when I first received it and opened it up. However, her waist was so thin that she quickly broke and fell over. I taped a Popsicle stick to one side to stand her up but when you open up her skirt, you realize that there is nothing but the tissue paper for her to stand on and it doesn't stay up very well. We got some small rocks to hold her down and stand upright but this all seems like a lot of creative "fix-it's" for something I paid money for. It is very, very cute but I just would not recommend it. Bummer!

The hula girl centerpieces are more washed out than the photo here. Also, as noted by another, the adhesive to stick the skirt open is not strong, the bottom isn't even so she didn't balance well on the table. Despite these flaws, the kids thought they were cool so keep your expectations reasonable and they can still add a nice touch to a luau.

would not buy again
She looks cheesy and the bottom does not line so she does not stand up. The tape that is suppose to hold her skirt open does not stick well. Had retape and prop up.

Better if Cheaper
Arm's/Head were kind of flimsy - hard to stand up.
