Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Allisuesue snap broke on almost all of them
The leather breaks around the snap when you try to open them. I found the majority of my students projects in the garbage on the way out the door. Complete waste of money.

I bought these Coin Purses a few years back for VBS and they were wonderful. However, now the quality is really poor. The first time I opened the purse the snap pulled right out. It tore like it was made of paper. I have one of the original ones I purchased and you could not tear it. These new ones rip even while trying to lace it up. I bought 120 of them and had to throw them out.

We did these crafts in my Sunday School -- K - 2 -- some kids had no problem with them (used a pencil to poke out holes). But almost all of them tore at the snap -- including the one I made as a sample. How disappointing. Oriental Trading should discontinue this item. Maybe if they used velcro instead of snaps for closing .....

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mountainscoutmom Good idea but poor quality material
This looked to be a really good idea for cub scouts to make and give to mom for Mother's Day. The holes were barely punched so we had to take a screwdriver to make the holes. The coin purses tore apart when trying to unsnap it the first time. Maybe if the material was man made leather or something else it would have worked better.

by JDub2545 tore the first time open
Yes, I agree with other reviews--the snap is too strong which caused the material around the snap to rip the first time my daughter tried to open it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Marineguyny Very low quality
Although not too expensive, it should last a few hours. The snaps rip right out first time it;'s closed. Better off using Velcro on this product or a magnet to close. Snaps are too strong. Of the 15 used by the kids snaps ripped off of 11 of them the first time it was closed.
