Used for prop at my audio club meeting while listening to beach music
I would recommend electric inflator or you will need a lot of lung power. It does indeed (as other reviews have noted) need to be weighed down at the bottom in order to stay upright. Once you do that, it looks fine! Looks durable enough, and while not totally realistic it works well as a prop!

Great idea, poor engineering - disappointing
The tree is a super cute idea. Unfortunately someone did not engineer it properly. The tree fails to stand on it's own. We are going to have to put sand at the base to get it to stay up. If not, it will just have to lean against a wall. Also, the palm branches are difficult to inflate. I am right handed, and found I had to turn the tree upside down to get to the valve and be able to seal it. A bit awkward. We will not be keeping these after the party, and I would feel awful handing them on to someone else to struggle with.

I purchased 1 of these for my daughters graduation Luau I blew it up as soon as we recieved it and it had no holes and held air but once inflated it tipped over I plan on adding sand and sea shells to the base to keep it upright hope it works!! There are alot of port to blow tree up I would reccomend using an electric pump

40th Birthday Party
despite the other reviews, i purchased 2 of these anyway. They were an awesome addition to our party. I used a bicycle foot pump to inflate them. I never would have gotten enough air pressure into them to keep them upright otherwise just blowing them up like a beachball. yes, there are a lot of sections, but it really doesn't take that long with the foot pump. yes, the base doesn't stay flat & it tips over if its not propped up. its top heavy & full of air. I purchased several bags of the super cheap glass rocks/beads & poured them into the base to weight it down. it held them up perfectly, no propping or tape necessary. I even hung leis from the branches for decoration. both my trees held up for the duration of my husbands 40th suprise birthday party, despite the attempt of some of the partygoers picking them up and walking around with them.

Not worth the time!
Should have taken the other reviews into account. The palm tree leaves are hard to blow up and then you have to tape the palm tree to the floor to keep it upright. Cute idea, just be ready with the tape!

Inflatable palm tree - disappointing
Was difficult to inflate, then would not stand upright. I leaned the trees against a wall in a corner. If there were a sandbag or some weight at the bottom, it would be fine.

Better than expected
One didnt fill all they way, two others were perfect

not worth it
doesn't stand up. the bottom doesn't even inflate to a flat surface allowing it to be possible... even if the top wasn't so heavy that it bent the silly thing in half.

we did a beach themed bible school this year so i order multiple products. The tree looked great when we blew it up but it would not stand on it's own we had to but a weight on one side to keep it standing - then we noticed the tree part would not stand straight it leaned to one side the entire time. Don't think i would order this again.
