Fun for a treasure hunt
I bought this not really knowing for sure what I'd use it for...it was much bigger than i had expected so since I already had a cooler, I used this as the final "treasure dig" for my son's birthday pirate party. I put gemstones and gold pirate coins in the bottom and covered them with a bit a sand. The kids had to follow a treasure map and they would find things along the way, this was the final treasure find and they loved it!

Perfect for a Pirate Party
I used this for my son's pirate themed birthday party...it was perfect! I liked that it was large enough to hold a lot of drinks and ice, but it didn't take forever to blow up. Really cute detail to go with the theme!

We got this to use as a cooler for my son's 10th birthday party that was pirate themed and everyone loved it! One little guy even asked if he could take it home with him! I read reviews about it leaking and not staying aired up, so I blew it up a couple of weeks before the party and it held air perfectly! We also used a trash bag as a precaution against leaks. We even picked it up and moved it after the party and it held all the ice and extra sodas without leaking or breaking.

I was super surprised at the quality of this cooler!! It was wonderful!!! I even put it on top of a table, filled with soda, juice, water bottles, and ice and it did not even leak!!!! I held 4 12packs of soda, 4 capri sun boxes, and about 12 water bottles!!! Plus 9lbs of ice!!!! Everything was super cold and worked really well!!! It was also a great decoration for my sons pirate party!!!!!

Cooler turned toy box
I bought this for my son's birthday party to keep drinks cool. The chest held 30 pouches of Capri Sun, 18 bottles of water, and 2 six pound bags of ice. More than enough drinks for the party and plenty of ice to keep them all cold. Even though some of the ice melted during the party, the cooler didn't leak a drop. I had the ice and drinks in the cooler for about 4 hours.
Now that the party is over, the treasure chest is being used to store toys for my son. Not sure how long it will hold up as a toy box, but I feel that I already got my money's worth using it for the party so I'm not too concerned about that.
The only thing that was difficult about this was blowing up the sides on the lid - they don't hold much air and most of it would leak out before my husband could get the valve shut to keep the air in. But they held enough air to keep the lid in the right shape, so not a real issue.

These are AWESOME!!!
Love these. They were a great part to the party. Alot of complements on them. I had a pirate party for my 3yr old son and they were perfect. Held up well. No leaks. I put 4 (2) liters in each one with ice. They could have held probably 4 more 2 liters in each. Very well pleased with these. Everybody LOVED them.

Holes, Holes, Holes
I purchased one of these Inflatable Treasure Chest Coolers for my son's 5th birthday party. The first inflatable treasure chest I purchased had a hole in the seem where the top/lid connects to the base. So, the lid would not stay inflated. I tried the enclosed repair patch, but the hole was in the seem, therefore the patch couldn't get a tight/flat seal.
I decided to purchase an additional Inflatable Treasure Chest Cooler. Hoping the second treasure chest would be inflatable. Guess what? There was a hole in the seem on the base of this chest. So, the bottom would not stay inflated.
I am not pleased with the construction of this product. It is obvious that, when the product was cut out of the plastic pattern, care was not taken. It is obvious that the cutter got to close to the seems and that is what caused the holes.
I ended up purchasing an Inflatable Pirate Ship Cooler from an external website and the first one I received was perfect.

Haven't used it yet, but will soon. Looks like it will be good, I have blown it up and so far no leaks. Is a lot larger than I thought it would be.
