Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute craft This is a great craft; however, gluing the clouds onto the cups were very hard. We ended up using hot glue to make them stay on the rounded cup.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Difficult to assemble Clouds won't stick to the cup. White glue didn't work at all. Glue stick worked if I used a lot and held the cloud down tight for a few minutes, but the edges kept popping up no matter how much glue I used. I will use cotton balls so my Pre-K kids can make this craft.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fortunately I assembled a sample before class! When assembling my sample, I found the foam pieces would not adhere securely unless I used a glue gun. I do not want my 5 and 6 year olds using a hot glue gun, so I decided to partially assemble the kids' crafts. I planned to have them attach the clouds.. Then I discovered that the clouds were much too stiff and would not adhere to the cups. The kids used cotton balls instead of the clouds provided so there was at least one part they could do on their own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for bible study lesson This was great for our Easter Lesson on the Resurrection. Our youth range from 4 - 10 and they were all able to work on the craft. With the younger children the needed help threading and tying the string. They enjoyed re-telling the story of the Resurrection with the craft.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The clouds were stiff and didn't conform to the curve of the paper cup. The craft was a good idea, but the clouds were not flexable and when glued to the paper cup, they kept popping off. That was the only thing that I could find fault with. The clouds should be made of a more flexable material.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed My Sunday School class is 1st and 2nd grade. This craft requires too much adult help. Even with taping the end of the cord, the kids could not thread it through the small holes in the foam parts. The foam pieces are not adhesive backed, so you have to use glue or a glue stick and we have 45 minutes with the kids, so there wasn't enough time to allow it to dry. Also, the felt foam pieces that are to be glued to the cup are rigid and don't bend around the cup so the glue won't hold them on. The quality of the pieces are fine, the foam pieces are thick and the cup sturdy, it just isn't designed well and isn't meant for younger kids unless you have lots of adult help.

Questions & Answers

Is there a better Bible verse for the cloud? I think the kids would get confused having a craft about the Ascension with the word "Resurrection" on it

Asked by: aplcinamn
The cloud reads: In His great mercy, he has given us new birth into a loving hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.: Peter 1:3.

This looks like a really cute craft. Has the problem been resolved with clouds that do not adhere properly to the cup?

Asked by: MichelleVsTechnology
The clouds will adhere to the cup easily, however if pulled on they will come off as well.
