Disappointed
My Sunday School class is 1st and 2nd grade. This craft requires too much adult help. Even with taping the end of the cord, the kids could not thread it through the small holes in the foam parts. The foam pieces are not adhesive backed, so you have to use glue or a glue stick and we have 45 minutes with the kids, so there wasn't enough time to allow it to dry. Also, the felt foam pieces that are to be glued to the cup are rigid and don't bend around the cup so the glue won't hold them on. The quality of the pieces are fine, the foam pieces are thick and the cup sturdy, it just isn't designed well and isn't meant for younger kids unless you have lots of adult help.

Best Craft ever
For the first time my church decided to have a party for easter and I got this craft thinking it would be an okay craft. It turned out to be the most talked about craft at the party. Everyone wanted to do it, even the adults.
My only suggestion is to get glue dots from a craft store instead of trying to use elmers glue. It's quick drying and people can take their crafts home right away! For any and all crafts that require gluing from Oriental trading - get glue dots. Makes the craft so much better!

It would be a unique craft if the materials were better!
I purchased this item for our Sunday School class - I thought it was such a unique and appropriate craft. Due to time constraints for our class, I preassembled the string part so that the kids would only have to glue the clouds onto the cup and sun onto the cloud. You would think that would be easy, right? Absolutely NOT! We tried glue sticks and regular elmer's glue - the clouds would NOT stick to the cup - they wouldn't even bend around the cup. The felt used for the clouds was WAY too stiff and the cup material was too slippery for the glue to stick. We ended up with a group of 5-7 years olds so sticky with glue - glue on hands, glue on tables, chairs, etc. It was a complete disaster! I am incredibly disappointed and definitely would NOT recommend this craft.

Very cute!
Did this craft a while ago. It was very simple for little hands and it was nice to have something interactive with them at the end as they slid Jesus up into the cup!
