What No Glue?
Bought this as an activity for 11 yr old birthday party, the girsl were very excited, but there was no way to attach the jewels to the dog tag. We tried spay on adhesive, and hot glue, but it didn't really work, so it was a waste of money. Was it supposed to have glue with it??

I ordered these as a give away .. but never used them....I tried several types of glue and every type made the "white " stones look cloudy,EVEN SOME OF THE " FOIL"CAME OFF OF THE BACK, also the glues that worked ran out of the lines of the hearts and looked UGLY..The metal that they are made with is extremely soft . ( I can see them getting bent very easily esp. with kids.. then the stones would fall off.) YOU'RE BETTER OFF ADDING AN EXTRA DOLLAR OR TWO AND GET SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING NICE! I wish I would have read the reviews prior to ordering them.

The boys liked them
It is hard to find crafts for middle school boys. These hit the spot. They liked making them and giving to their moms and girlfriends.

The metal on the dog tags is very thin but that was to be expected considering the price. The big problem I had was that no adhesive was included to attach the jewels on with. I don't think that Elmer's glue or even tacky glue will hold the jewels in place with normal wear and tear and also it is impossible to apply the glue without it spreading out beyond the jewels. Even though Elmer's dries relatively clear it will still show against the fake metal. I would use super glue but I purchased this product for 10 year old girls to make. Also, the jewels are so tiny that even with tweezers, it will be very difficult to pick them up and apply them in place. I would have returned this product but the shipping would have cost as much as the product. This was a waste of money.
