Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Price went up; quality went down Bought these last year for about $15 a dozen...and several dozens over the past few years. They changed to a "lighter" weight bell, which now delivers a much lower volume of ringing, and the price went up about 30%. Also, we always have the problem of bells flying off with shaking...but usually after a few uses. This newest batch...we lost bells on the first time. They need better rivots attached to the strap (and better bells). Sad, very sad. February 18, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Many of the jingles fell off upon the first shake or two. The jingles sounded good and the price was right , but many of the bells fell off the wrist band very quickly. I'm not sure if they can be put back on easily because it is not clear how they were "attached" in the first place. It was very disappointing to me and the children. November 29, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cannot take too much roughness, bells came off WE got these to use for music time in our toddler preschool class. Within minutes bells came off the handles causing a possible choking hazard. If you purchase them plan on using them with older children who are very gentle. October 7, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Good Bells fell off after just a few minutes of use. Sent back and got a refund. I bought the slap bracelets with the bells and they worked way better!!! December 26, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poor sound I have ordered this product in the past, while not the best, they were adequate considering the affordable price. However, this batch is very poor sound quality. Unfortunately, I ordered almost 200 of them. I am disappointed. December 12, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice sound I bought these bells to supplement the bells I already had. They have great tone and volume. The problem was, the first time I let a student use them a bell fell off. As long as you are using them for something simple, they should be fine. December 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ordered 70 for a Christmas program at school. The bells fell out of the wrist band onto the floor. Not one or two bells but dozens and dozens. We ordered 70 wristbands to complete the 30 I had gotten years ago from Oriental Trading. These wristbands look the same but the material is different and The bells fell out of the wristband first use. Not one or two bells but dozens and dozens of bells. So I will have to return them. Very upset. We were going to use them at the School Christmas program tomorrow. December 8, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Fell apart I am very disappointed with the quality of these bells. I have purchased bells from Oriental Trading in the past and been happy, but these were very poor quality. After a half hour of rhythm band in which the bells were used for their intended purpose, there were 8 bells that had fallen off the bands ad the Velcro on one of the bands was loose. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice quality and sounds great I ordered to put in treat bags at our annual Santa brunch - the kdis are going to love these as they sound well and fit snug with all bells attached. November 18, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bells falling off wristband Based on the good reviews I bought these to use in a preschool classroom. Bells started falling off within my first week of classes. Not acceptable when working with young children. October 3, 2014

A:
These bells have only gone up in price from $21.00 in 2013 to their current price of $21.99. We believe you may be confusing them with the Jingle Bell Bracelets that you purchased in 2012 at $15.00. These Jingle Bell Wristbands are a heavier duty item intended for playing like an instrument. The bracelets you purchased are a lighter weight wearable accessory.
