Johnny Appleseed Magnet Craft Kit 4.0 5 3 3

Perfect compliment for our Art project These foam kits were the perfect addition to our Apple tree project. My students drew/cut out brown paper trees, mounted them onto blue paper backgrounds, added scrunched up red tissue paper (apples) also from OT, and leaves cut from scrapbooking paper. While I read the story of Johnny Apple Seed the children (21) constructed the foam kits and then glued them at the base of the apple tree. Sorry we didn't bother with the magnets. I'll use them for something else, these projects are Too cute! The kits were all printed well and cut out properly. The 'extra pieces' came in handy when one girl misplaced her 'hands and nose' but all kits had the correct parts. I do prepare them by opening the packages (checking parts) and sorting them into individual recycled plastic dishes. This means no one loses pieces when they pull the plastic bag apart. I find a little time spent preparing activities saves bundles of time when delivering them and makes for a more successful and enjoyable project. Thanks OT, you made my day. October 15, 2011

Easy project The adhesive backing on the magnets was completely off when I received the package so we used our own foam glue. I thought the instructions were easy enough for the children to read and follow. September 29, 2011
