Cute &Fun!
I am a babysitter so I like to bring fun things when I watch the kids. This was really cute and they enjoyed making them and playing with them afterwards! Great way to share the Jonah &the Whale story with them.

Cute idea, not so great quality
My sunday school class did this project, and a few of the Jonah's had to be thrown away. One didn't have a hole all the way through and several ended with the hole on his face. He is very ugly. There was no hole in the whale, I had to poke one myself... once finished it was okay, but it's kind of a pain.

Do not buy these!
The cord would not "thread" through the Jonah bead. I worked each one through with a needle. Holes were uneven and some came up through the front of Jonah! It took me an hour to get this craft ready for 12 kids!!!

Bad quality! Parts are too Small
Used this as a VBS craft. The thread isn't long enough and doesn't stick when glued. Had to tie each end togehter. The little Jonah looks horrible and it's really small and has tiny parts that were difficult for the kids to keep up with when putting together.

Be sure to have adult helpers
Although the concept of this craft idea is very cute, the product quality is not the best. The thread was difficult to push through the teeny, tiny hole in Jonah but one adult helper managed to do it for all the kids in my class (ages 1-8 but mostly 5 & 6 year olds). Two Jonahs were not made correctly and we couldn't even use them. There was not a hole on the whales as shown in the picture so the adults had to tie the other end of the thread around the pink section before the kids glued on the whales. The eyes are smaller than they appear in the picture. (We had to look hard to find some of the eyes in the packages and some got lost easily.)
