"Junior Firefighter" Badge Craft Kit
We have purchased these for our Fire Dept. Pancake Breakfast to give away in a goodie bag for the kids. They enjoy making them! Simple, cut out, and ready to go.... excellent.

I purchased these for my son's 3rd birthday party. I decided to put them together in advance because we had another craft, plus I wanted to use hot glue for the pin on the back. The kids loved them! There was one in the set I got that was cut out wrong, but I didn't need all of them so it was fine.

Purchased for 4 year old birthday party
I was very disappointed with the amount of glue required for this project. This project would have been so much better with peel off stick paper on the back. Pins require your own glue too. If you buy....get glue dots to put this together with.

Great for little ones
This craft may be too simple for older children but it perfect for little hands. Simple directions make it easy for even a one yr old to do. The older kids will enjoy using it after wards though so I have to say it is great for all ages.

These served their purpose (pin the badge on the fireman) but they're pretty thin & cheap and I wouldn't recommend them as stand-alone badges.

Not worth it
Even thought this is not a lot of money for 12 badges they are not worth it at all. Most of them I had to write on because the print was not there or not centered or bled color all over the place and I have to completely turn the foam over and write the lettering myself.I ordered them to be a favor at my sons birthday party that we are holding at the local fire station. I am really disappointed in them they look nothing like they are pictured to look. the print is either not there , all over the place or so blurry they are unreadable. It's a shame I am going to do my best to salvage them because the idea is cute but they look really sloppy.

Not good for little ones
It comes with a pin and so someone had to be around at all times while the kids were putting it together. Plus it needs glue and it didn't come with any glue. Was really hard for children younger than 5 to figure out alone.

A little work needed...
As another mom mentioned, best if assembled ahead of time with hot glue gun (which I did). Cutting of the badge outlines (red background) was inconsistent and I had to trim/recut several of them to try to get them to work. Printing on mine had also rubbed onto other layers of the craft and the centerpiece "FD" part was misprinted on the ink alignment. Overall I don't think the 4 & 5 yr. olds will mind. Great price but out of 12 total, I only had 10 I could use (after modifying them).

Must Glue These
This really didn't work out that great at my party as they needed to be glued. I didn't want to bring out the glue as it was for my son's 2nd bday. I instead had parents help put double sided tape or photo splits to stick them together. However, there is a pin that comes with it that really does need to be hot glued. The boys were kinda dissappointed. Maybe if I realized before I could have hot glued them before the party. Other than that they were worth the price.

Purchased for a craft project for kids at a fire department pancake breakfast. Kids of all ages (and their parents) loved it! Also used glitter glue to add a little glitz.
