Keep It Clean! Paint Cups
Cups of Paint
I bought these for my daughter's 3rd birthday party and they worked very well. I filled them with paint and added the chubby brushes, also from OTC, and didn't have ANY problems with spillage or tipping over because of the brushes, like others have had. These cups worked very well with the paint I bought, also from OTC, but for one of the assortments of paint I had a dark blue and a light blue not a pink-- just had light blue paint in pink cup, NBD. The white inner piece snapped into place and was very secure. The floppy lid on top was loose, not loose enough that paint would spill when the cup fell to the floor (My daughter has dropped closed cups with paint in them many times- no leaks or messes), but just loose enough that the paint would dry up gradually, kind of a bummer but just make sure not to fill the cup up with more than what you're gonna use in one paint session.

There's a crack in the bottom of one of the cups. Almost every item I purchased from here was defective. I spent a decent amount of money on items from this site and most of them were defective or not as described.

Paint storage idea
After reading the other reviews, I have a suggestion for people who cannot store the paint as long as they like....
Insert ziplock baggies into the cups. THEN pour the paint in and zip closed. The cups stay clean and the paint stays moist. Hope this helps!

I love 'em
I was so happy to see OT offering this size paint cup! I can fit 6 to 8 of these cups in a plastic tray. The smaller cups take less storage space in the classroom and for transporting to away classes. It's true they are not airtight, but I use them with liquid watercolor so I just add water if they dry out.

perfect for preschool, a little short
Used these with my home daycare and preschool. They work great for a small group with small amounts of paint. The lids fit well enough to prevent spills and keep the paint for a day or so, they just aren't airtight to store the paint for long periods of time. Negative is they're a little too short to use with anything but thin, lightweight brushes. Can't use with the chubby brushes that OTC sells, as the handles of those brushes are heavy and tip these short paint cups over.

These worked good for a party so there was a smaller amount of paint out. But the lid did not fit tight enough to seal the paint. That was a major negative to me.
