I am disappointed in these. They aren't very sturdy . The lines are not sharp. I don't think they'll work very well for rubbing.

I've done art projects using leaves we gathered from outdoors. It's messy, the leaves crumble, the rubbings are hard to see, bugs and dampness. We took a walk to see the different colors of the fall leaves. Then used nice clean dry bug free leaf plates to make two 12 x 18 pieces of art work [one to take home & one to laminate to use as a placemat for our fall luncheon]. Only one plate was kinda fuzzy. Didn't care use it any way. Loved them and will use holly plate to make wrapping paper or some other holiday craft.

We have done it both ways-find leaves, attach to matboard with spray glue, cover with foil, make a rubbing and antique with paint-super! BUT when deep veined leaves cannot be found, (or they are limp and wet) then you want to have these templates for foil rubbings or paper rubbings....Get more than one set (I did)

Purchased for Foster Parent Night Out at our church. The kids loved these. They are bigger than I thought they would be. I will save them again to use next year.
