Use a Stapler
Very interesting story. I will always pay attention to the donkey's back now. We used a stapler to attach the palm leaves and the burlap handle.

Fun, easy project
Never heard of a legend of the donkey but the children loved it. Did not attach palm leaves to hanger as they will not stay. Had little ones scatter them over the unprinted parts of the "road and grass." Used adtech glue strips to attach background to printed area.

Donkey Craft Kit
Adorable and easy to assemble. I like to use low heat hot glue for most all foam craft kits. It is easy and they stay together. My 5 year old grandson helped by separating pieces for me and got them ready for me to glue. It was a fun project to give to his Sunday School class.

cute craft!
This craft was cute and simple to make. The hair on the donkey was tricky. Glue dots helped a lot.

THE ITEM WAS A LOT SMALLER THAN I EXPECTED

Short and Easy Craft
Overall I was happy with this purchase. I made two changes: I stapled the string onto the craft before assembly, and I eliminated the palm leaves at the top because gluing foam to a string sounded too messy. The directions were clear, the kids (ages 6-11) were able to do it on their own in 10-15 minutes, and the results were very nice. On a few of the kits, the writing was smeared and the foam on at least one of the donkeys had a large splotch on it.

fun for the crafter
This was a great craft project for my 9 year old. It would of been faster to assemble if they were self sticking. But fun to do.

Legend of the Donkey project
Great addition to our Christmas crafts. Everyone learned something from this story. Children under 5 need help to get all the parts together. But it makes a nice gift.

Very cute
I loved these. My daughter made these for her teachers for Christmas. The only issue was glueing the "hair" on the Donkeys head and tail. You need to use a lot of glue and it makes the hair stiff. Then the "hair" falls off. It would probably look just as cute without that part.
