Product Details

Mix together a brilliant mix of AB beads, lampwork hearts and goldtone spacers to brew up this irresistible accessory that’s just perfect for Valentine’s Day. As easy as it is fun, this Love Potion Bottle Necklace is one project that you may find yourself making plenty to pass out for you and all your besties to wear!1. To create the Love Potion bottle, mix a fairly even amount of red, pink, and purple seed beads in the bottle. Use a hot glue gun and carefully place some hot glue on the lower outer edge of the Love Potion cork. While the glue is still hot, place the cork on the bottle. This will secure the cork in place.2. To create the Love Potion bottle charms, use a 2" goldtone eyepin and attach the eyepin to the loop on the Love Potion cork. On the attached goldtone eyepin, put on a 4mm goldtone round bead, an 8mm garnet AB cut glass crystal round bead, a 6mm goldtone daisy spacer bead, a 4mm clear AB cut glass crystal bicone bead, and a 2mm goldtone round bead. Cut and make a loop on the end. This will be the center charm of your necklace.3. Cut a 20" strand of the heavy soft flex wire, creating a small loop at the end to attach the necklace clasp, and secure the loop with a crimp tube. Using pliers, open the jump ring attached to the necklace clasp, slide it through the loop, and close the jump ring. Trim off any excess wire past the crimp tube.4. Begin stringing the necklace with your choice of beads, starting with 4mm beads for the first inch of the necklace's beads and build to the 6mm and 8mm size beads. When in the middle, add the bottle charm. Then reverse the order that beads were strung up to the bottle charm.5. Once all beads are strung on, create a loop and attach a crimp tube to close the necklace. Add the jump ring for the clasp to attach to when the necklace is closed.
