Just what I was looking for!
I was looking for feathers to use for another project and came upon this one. Each mask had plenty of feathers, sequins and many extra pieces I wasn't expecting, which is perfect! I ended up using a glue gun like another reviewer but it doesn't deter from the quality. I ended up making a couple of these with my daughter and it was fun too!

A lot of fun at any age
We used these masks for a Mardis Gras party at work. The kits are easy to assemble, are inexpensive, and they look really nice! Even the guys in our company made them. I had read the previous reviews, so I hot glued all the sticks to the masks previous to the event. We didn't have a problem with the adhesive on the other items. Many of the employees didn't follow the directions, and shared kits. It added to the individuality of each mask. I'm thinking of getting these for my daughter's 10th birthday party, seeing how the adults had such a blast.

Mardi Gras Masks
A little more time consuming than expected. Sticks don't stay stuck - had to break out the glue gun. Difficult to remove paper backing from tiny gems - needed tweezers, would be hard for a child to assemble. Glitter a bit messy too.

OK, but...
I bought this set for my Daisy Girl Scout troop. There was one set of decorations missing, so luckily for me, we didn't have 12 girls that evening. And while the packet says that everything is self-stick, the big gold star that goes over the eye did NOT self-stick and we had no glue with us to finish the activity for the girls who received that version. The girls had fun anyway, but My co-leader and I were disappointed. (P.S. the way the sticks are supposed to be adhered to the mask isn't very secure either, but we made do.)

Best Mardi Gras Masks Ever
The masks were very good. Slightly expensive, but not too bad. One thing I had to do was staple the foam piece holding the stick on. Otherwise, it would fall off. It was an easy fix that was covered by other foam pieces on the front. But when finished, they looked absolutely fantastic! Everyone loved them!
