Mardi Gras Necklace Idea

Celebrate Mardi Gras with this DIY necklace jewelry project. Wear to a Mardi Gras party, or wear it ring in the season. Assemble five beaded drops using goldtone headpins and Mardi Gras Pearl Beads as shown in the photo. 2. Assemble four beaded drops using goldtone headpins and Mardi Gras Seed Beads as shown in photo. (Seed bead drops are approx. 1 1/8” long.)3. Locate the center of the 24” Gold Link chain and attach the longest beaded drop to the chain’s center link using round nose pliers, bending a loop in the top of the headpin to secure.You’ll now work your way up one side of the necklace, starting from the center.4. Attach a seed bead beaded drop to the link next to the center link, bending a loop in the top of the headpin to secure. 5. Attach a Fleur De Lis charm to the next link, using a jump ring.6. Attach a seed bead beaded drop to the next link, bending a loop in the top of the headpin to secure. 7. Attach a four-bead beaded drop to the next link, bending a loop in the top of the headpin to secure.8. Skip one chain link, and attach a Fleur De Lis charm to the chain with a jump ring.9. Skip one chain link, and attach a four-bead beaded drop to the chain, bending a loop in the top of the headpin to secure.10. Repeat step 8 to finish one side of the necklace.11. Repeat steps 4 through 10 to complete the other side of the necklace.
