"Merry Chrismoose" Christmas Ornament Craft Kit
Great for Classrom Party
I bought this and a whole bunch of ornaments for my daughters December birthday. We had a "PolarExpress" themed party where my house was decorated like Santa's workshop and the kids got to make ornaments, picture frames ect. I went a little crazy so I had a lot left over. So this year we made gingerbread ornaments for my kindergartners class, 3-D trains for my scout troop, and these adorable moose ornaments for my third graders class. As soon as I walked in a little girl came over and said, "oh I love these ornaments and I love the book that goes with them." What a book? Ya! We ran to the school library and found an adorable book about a moose who can't find a Christmas tree so he decorates himself. We read it to the class to get them even more excited about the craft and it was a hit!!!

quality control was poor
The ornament was very cute when completed. I opened the individual packages to hole punch and tie the strings, only to find that pieces were missing from approximately 12 of the 36 packages. The pieces were not self-adhesive, making it more difficult for young childen.

Cute, but came up short
Very cute and enjoyed making these with my class, however several of the kits had missing parts. We had extra kits, but if not for those, the project would have been incomplete. Love Oriental Trading, been using them for years and this is the first review I have written. Thought you needed to know.

These were very easy to assemble. I made one change to the scarf - I drew a line to make it look like the two ends of the scarf crossed. The arm pieces were missing from some of the kits, but I sent an email to O.T. and they sent replacements.

Cute when finished
This craft took a lot longer than expected. The smaller children will need help putting everything together as the directions tell you to. We had a much easier time using glue dots rather than craft glue because the pieces would not move around as much.

Futsy but cute as the dickens
This project has a lot of small pieces which could mean boredom for the little ones, but the results are adorable.
