Perfect for our party
We needed satchels to use for an Indiana Jones birthday party. These worked perfectly for the 7 year olds! They loved the colors and couldn't wait to fill the bags with the treasures they would find along the way. These bags are made just as they are priced. Don't expect to use long term. Perfect for our needs.

Not worth the money
I purchased these bags for book bags for my class. We put 1 paperback book and 1 paper folder with 6 pages inside. By day 4 I had resewn/reattached straps on 24/28 bags. Rediculous.

Poor Quality
The handles tore off all of the bags within the first hour. Very disappointing!!

Not Super Sturdy but Expected that for Price
Other reviews are accurate that the material is flimsy, but we used as party goody bags and it worked out well for us. They are very colorful and the kids loved them. They had gotten prizes during the party and then had a place to stash their stuff. Parents thought that it was a different twist on a goody bag and I see some of the kids use them now (to bring light toys to the playground... etc...). So, if you are looking for a sturdy bookbag - this is not for you - if you are looking for a cute bag for kids and light stuff - this works.

Not quite what I was expecting, but they will work
I bought these as the goody bags for my 3-year old's birthday party. They are brightly colored and will work for this use for sure. The material is not what I expected. It is very thin, not cotton or canvas, but for the price I guess I should have expected that. The strap is nice and actually the size of the bag is very good. It could be used by kids or adults for lightweight items like a change of clothes or pair of shoes. Overall, happy with item especially considering the cost.

Bad product
This product was only three pieces of fabric sewn together, with a handle attached. Not sturdy at all.

good for the price and intended use
I got these because of the bright colors to use as something different for wrapping children's presents. They are not sturdy enough for heavy use but I know kids like to have a place to 'keep their stuff'. This "wrapping" can be used to carry a favorite toy, art stuff, snacks, a book, or maybe extra clothes when going to an overnight at grandmas. As long as they aren't expected to replace book bags, they were a great bargain

Not good quality
I was very disappointed in the messenger bags. The quality was very poor. The colors were very bright. I expected them to be of better quality.

Worth the price
Another reviewer wrote that the picture was misleading. I do agree, I was expecting a different type of material for the bags. On the other hand, the bags still stand up to a bunch of abuse(they were bought for 7-9yr olds!)and they do hold a bunch of stuff, even heavier stuff. The colors are vibrant, which is just what I bought them for! For the quantity you receive, the price is fair and the bags are the right quality for what I purchased them for.
