Cute kazoos
We bought these for a holiday party of singing students. They're all very pretty, but a little uneven in quality: a few of them didn't work very well, while others worked better at some pitches than others. Playing around with how one holds the kazoo -- for example, slightly squeezing the mid-section or using a finger to partially cover the top opening -- seemed to help. Still, everybody enjoyed being in the kazoo choir.

Metallic Snowflake Kazoos
I was looking for some cute and inexpensive - these seemed to fit perfectly. They were poorly constructed and whats worse, they don't even work! None of them! What child whats a non-working kazoo in their goodie bag? Frustrating.

Kids Loved the Kazoos
My kids had a CandyLand themed Birthday Party, and I purchased these Kazoos for the hand-out at the Snow Flake Lake station. ALL the kids LOVED these kazoos! The kids ranged from age 2-10 and once they all figured out the 'humming' sound they needed to make, they didn't stop! These were a big hit and my boys are still playing with theirs 2 weeks later! I was a little weary after reading all the other reviews, but the ones I got were great and every one of them worked just fine. I would get them again!

They Are Junk!
At the price I was certainly not expecting a finely tuned musical instrument BUT I was hoping they would at least sound like a kazoo! There should be a baffle or something in the body of the kazoo; it is just a hollow tube. You can hum LOUDLY and have a 'sort of music' result but these are not going to do us well in the kazoo marching band I'm putting together. Sorry I bothered to order but not worth paying postage to return them.

Cute, but a little cheap
These kazoos were pretty cute, and went well with the snowflake theme for my son's party, but the quality was a bit disappointing. The plastic itself was just ok, felt a bit flimsy, like it would break if I held it too hard, but what really disappointed me was the inconsistency with the designs. I understand that these are made to be cheap, but half of the ones we got had scratches all over them! The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the kids didn't know the difference (I only gave them the good ones), and because my son can't get enough of the sounds it makes. Not recommended for older kids who want to be rough though.

none of them work!
These come with instructions ("To make the fun kazoo sound, hum into the larger end of the kazoo."), but even if you follow the instructions, they don't work. Out of 24, we could only get a few to work, and even then they sounded pathetic. A waste of money. I complained and received a refund. Would not recommend them.

Don't waste your money
These kazoos don't work. They are cheap, hollow, plastic tubes that do not make any effective sound.

I am a little disappointed with these, but for the price don't feel that it is completely fair to complain. In my ignorance I thought that "metallic" meant that they would be a cheap/thin metal- not plastic covered with a shiny paint. They are also a little difficult to play. All in all I think the kids liked them and the parents hated them- and that was the point, right?
