Best thing ever
I got this thinking it would be a great thing for my room and it came today and i love it. It was easy to assemble and works perfectly. The colors are so pretty and was a great price.

Items for parties or low usage should not be expected to be "perfect" Our party was 5 hours and with Max life batteries these were still going
I bought 7 to have for centerpieces on tables & just where needed. I did purchase a couple of extra because of the bad reviews on various colors. I have 2 pink, 2 green, 1 blue, purple and silver. They were all great. if you need to keep them from falling over or being moved use sticky tack or some other removable sticky mount to hold in place. Don't pull on the optic strands they will come out, if possible let set for a few days to give them time to spread out and the lights will get more colorful and bright after a few minutes of being turned on. GREAT for a dance party with neon or DJ lights. Also, elegant enough to be used for a nice dinner party with low lighting or under the stars.

Crash Landing
This UFO lamp is really cheaply made. The lamp did not work on the first one, so they sent me another. One of the UFOs had the fiber optics bent to one side instead of spreading out in all directions. The fibers came out here and there, and the mass of fibers came out of the piece that you use to put them into the base. I basically kept all the best parts from both in order to have a decent UFO, but I still ended up having to superglue the fibers in to keep them from falling out further.

Very Disappointed
Excited to get, but disappointed that it did not work. Don't know what the problem was, but my husband who can fix anything could not get it to function at all.

Mini UFO Lamp
Out of the 20 I bought only 2 "fan out" as in the photo. I'm trying to work with them before I send them back AND they roll over if not taped to the table.

Worked perfect for center piece
I used one on each side of my lighted beverage fountain ( bought from here) and it looked beautiful. When the sun went down they really lit up and people are still talking about how nice they were.

on/off switch broke quickly
my 7-year old was very disappointed that the on/off switch broke on the first day - even though she was being careful with it. also, light shines through the thin blue plastic base, making the fiber optic lights hard to see. I would not purchase another.
