I ordered these for my pre-Kindergarten students to make as family Christmas gifts. They came out very nice. I printed a label on sticker paper for the back, with a greeting and a place to write their name. I also used the small school picture stickers to stick their photo to the back. For the cuffs of the mitten, I wrote their names in dot print, to make them a little fancier, but they signed the back in their own handwriting. The stickers for decorating were a little hard for small hands to peel off of the backing, but they managed to do it. We did the handprints ahead of time, so they'd be dry, and then did all the decorating at small group time. Everybody loved them.

This was an easy and fun project to do with my class. The only downside is that the yellow foam doesn't contrast well with the white finger paint. It is easy to use and looks adorable.

I had kindergarteners make these. Some of their hands were almost as big as the mitten. We made it work though. It is a cute ornament.

I had bought these for a gift from my kids to the relatives. Kids loved getting their hands messy and wanted to do more! They loved decorating them after they dried.
