Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs better construction My son had a ninja theme party for his 9th birthday and this was the center piece for the candy station The material it self is study but the way it is has to be assembled is horrible. The interlocking tabs will not stay in the slot allowed causing it to fall apart in some places. I did use tape to keep it in place but was afraid to put cupcakes on it. A glue gun might be helpful but test it out on an area that will not be seen just In case the glue is to hot. Cute stand but not worth the hassle or money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition to party I bought two of these for my son's Kung Fu Panda birthday. It was a piece of cake to assemble and I was even able to move one loaded with cupcakes. We had to take the top piece off for blowing out the candles, but that wasn't a big deal. I would add one tip not mentioned in directions--it's faster and easier to pop out all the small pieces of cardboard that are in the slots before assembling (i.e. don't use the connecting pieces to "push" them out as you put it together...that's a waste of time).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product The cupcake stand looks great and its really tall. Nice addition to our ninjago themed bday party. I put tine piece of tape in between levels to be sure it would not fall off when the kids started picking stuff off of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning centerpiece and play toy too! As might be expected with die-cut foam core, not every slot lines up perfectly with each tab but I still HIGHLY recommend this piece. Assemble well in advance and use a good craft glue to hold it together. I had hoped to dismantle this piece for future use but now I'm glad I was forced to glue because it is perfect for my grandson's growing ninjago figure collection. Picks it up to carry around the house. Very impressive 8year birthdate party centerpiece--holds lots of cupcakes--quite large--top quality. Tip--buy the ridiculous ninja chopsticks, serve 25 cent ramen noodles and challenge the kids to see who can master them first. Hilarious--soon they were eating their ice cream with chopsticks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected Due to our inability to find a cake topper based on the recent Ninja themed movie our son is obsessed with, I ordered this cupcake holder instead and it was a huge hit. It was easy to put together and sturdy enough to last throughout the party, although we plan on making it more secure so he can play with it like a toy. It's just really cute and a fun way to display cupcakes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Parent assembly required This has to be assembled by adult and doesn't not stay put together it will keep coming apart I found it easier to glue it in the slots for it to stay I was able to fit 24 cupcakes and everyone loved it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute Looks super cute and will add to your décor. Quality is fair but not too bad. Made out of cardstock so it was sturdy. Sometimes it would snap out of place. Just be careful when moving it around. Otherwise, I was pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coolest cupcake holder ever! We used it at my son's birthday party at his karate class and his kindergarten class. Especially at Karate class, kids are into Ninja, they were super excited w this castle as well as Colorful ninja toy (from this company) i decorated along w cupcake! 5 mini cupcakes fitted one section at the bottom, 4 mini in the middle, 2 on top. 3 may fit, but looked too tight. Building this up was simple, but some ppl may find it little difficult. For me, it just took some time to pop the holes for the first time use. So i pre-popped at home and i took it to his kindergarten to build them for party. Karate class sensei loved it and will donate for other boys' b-day party. The material is strong enough to re-use several times for sure!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute, but poorly packaged This product is cute and helped ease the stress of decorating a cake for my sons party. It was also sturdy. Unfortunately, there is a lot of set-up required. This would have been fine if I'd been given all the necessary pieces. Each corner is made up of two pieces that fit together and then into its base. I received a couple of duplicates rather than partner pieces so there was no way to create a couple of the corners. I had to leave those corners out and turn them to the back. Not the end of the world, but I certainly would have preferred a properly packaged item.

Questions & Answers

How many cupcakes does it hold?

Asked by: Pooda
12 "standard" cupcakes. If they were minis, probably as many as 36.

I just did a quick google search, and it looks like it is "ninja" in kanji.
