Rated 5 out of 5 by from My nephews loved this game! I bought these to give out at my book club's white elephant book exchange and ugly sweater party. And I happened to give one to my nephew (5 years old) who thinks it's the greatest game ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Game The kids and adults had a great time playing this really easy card game. It is a great way to calm down the action without taking away the fun. Just make sure everyone knows to not tell if they have the ugly sweater so they can get rid of it. I told the kids it is a big secret and if you keep it you will get a prize at the end of the game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super fun game for family! This is a great party favor - great price - fun for all ages. I bought it for my 6 year old's birthday party favors and we have played it more than most of the toys she received on that same day.

What are the rules for playing the game? My grandkids lost the directions hence the question.
Asked by: Himey
The rules are: To collect as many pairs of awesome gifts as you can without getting stuck with the ugly sweater. To play the dealer deals all the cards to the players. Players look at their cards and place any pairs they have face up in front of them. Beginning with the youngest player each player takes a turn choosing a card from the hand of the player on their left but be sure they cant see what card they are choosing. If the card selected makes a pair with a card in the players hand that pair is placed face up with the others. The player who just had a card taken then takes a card from the player on their left and continues around. You are able to shuffle the cards before a card is taken. Players continue taking turns until the ugly sweater card remains. The player left holding that card in their hand looses. The winner is the player with the most pairs.
