Penguin Doorknob Hangers
Recommended, only just
I bought these for our after school program as a winter project looking for something easy. A couple of issues, not all of the pieces have sticky backs so you do need glue which I was trying to avoid, the snowflakes are very hard to seperate without breaking, and there is no hat piece. There is a hat band and the pom pom but no actual hat piece so just know the hat will be white.
Overall ok project, the kids liked it anyway

unhappy with product
The decals were not separated many were damaged when separating the sheets.

perfect project when large quantities are needed
My Girl Scout troop made over 100 door hangings to leave as gifts for the residents at the convalescent home where we went caroling. This door hanging project was the easiest and least messy to complete.

Must-Buy for Kids
I bought these adorable doorknobs for my son's kindergarten class as a holiday craft, and it was a runaway success. The children loved getting the materials together and sticking them where they pleased, and it was a fun no-mess craft (no glue!) b/c of the self adhesive, which, if a child changes their mind, they can peel off and re-stick.
We put them over colored paper so that the flag and bird (on top of the flag) kept it in place, and used the snowflakes as extra decor on the paper. Even my pre-schooler was engrossed. This is a must-buy that I intend to get again.
P.S.: We didn't use our as doorknobs; rather, besides the paper, they are ornaments on our tree and hang as artwork.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!
This is as close to a perfect activity for all ages as it gets, and an unbelievable value at $0.50 a person. The variety of self-adhesive foam decorations was extremely impressive. Even with the few that had problems in production or transport, there was still an abundance. Everyone was happy with his or her creation and with several craft stations at our event, I was so happy to offer one that wasn't an ornament!!

no hassle gifts
I am always looking for gifts that my first graders can complete independently for their families when the holidays approach. I'm looking forward to this project because I will not have to do most of it for a change!!
I really like the self-adhesive feature.
