Classroom project
It was messy but fun! Although it was a bit hard on the turkey I had to remove some parts for her and her classmates, but at the end having the kid¿¿¿s satisfaction achievement their art work was just simply wonderful, my 5yr love it!

Hard to do for children
If an adult can assemble these kits with a glue gun, the hats are very cute and look great. This project comes with a lot of little pieces and was hard for my daughter's first grade class to do. I did not want to buy individual foam glue bottles for each child so we used regular white glue and adhesive dots which were recommended by a prior user. The dots worked well, but were hard for the children to use. The regular glue did not work well at all. I pre-assembled at least half the kit in advance using a hot glue gun but the kids still struggled to finish the remainder in a 30 minute time frame. I would not do this again with a class.

Cute Hats
These were really cute when finished. Did take a little bit of adult assistance with younger children. We used Glue Dots (for Crafts) to assemble them.

Cute Pilgrim Headbands
We used these for our Thanksgiving Play and looked really cute! Adults hot glued them together and we will reuse them for years to come. The headband velcro pieces supplied were too short to work for all head sizes, so we used longer pieces of velcro that we had. The turkey decoration on top can be left off and used for something else if you like and the hat still looks fine.
