Great for road trip distraction!
I was apprehensive at first about purchasing this based on reviews but ours was incredible! There were finger puppets, rubber duckies, bracelets, eye patches (the lamest of our items), coins, 2 treasure chests, pencils. It was great & my sons were kept busy during our road trip to the beach with a pirate theme! No stickers or tattoos as fillers either.
I also purchased other clearance design-your-own projects for down time in the hotel. Our room looked so fun with all the pirate-themed decorations we made!

The kids loved it.
This was awesome for my sons pirate birthday party. There were plenty of toys to go around for all the kids and they were happy with the many choices of toys.

Best value on the site!! Loved this assortment!!
This assortment has gotten a bad rap in the reviews! The assortment I received had everything you see in the picture! My 4 yr. old son loved all of it! Yes the eyepatches are paper, but my son has yet to break one! (2 weeks post party) We got just enough tattoos to not have to buy the 144 pack they offer on this site! The telescopes and paddle balls are a little cheesy, but the hacky sacs and necklaces are better quality. the treasure chests that were included with my assortment were pretty decent heavier plastic and can be opened and latched again many times with out issue.

Cool Stuff
I wasn't sure what I would get, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the assortment, variety, and quality of the trinkets. Yeah, they're plastic and throw-away-ish, but all the kids at the party loved them. Great for goodie bags.

Not Worth the Purchase
I was really not impressed by this purchase. The picture makes it seem much better than it is. I only received two of the footballs, and some of the items really weren't usable. I ended up spending more money purchasing other items to replace what I thought would be a good purchase.

Dissapointed With (Not a Complete) Assortment Sent
I got this Assortment since I was only going to have a total of 4 kids at my son's party and it would save money from buying a dozen of everything. But when I recived it I was a little dissapointed at how the assortment was done. YES, I understand that it's an assortment but I didn't even recieve one of each product shown and that was the reason of ordering this. I thought that there'd be maybe 4 of each item or at least some of each item but there wasn't. ((This would have been a great set if there would have been a couple of each pirate item))

Not bad for the price
I purchased this to fill the cardboard treasure chest box also purchased from OT for my nephew's birthday gift. He told me he likes pirates so I thought it would be fun for him to have his own treasure chest full of "pirate booty". As stated in other reviews, the assortment is totally random. I was a little disappointed he didn't get at least one or two eye patches or spy glasses for playing pirate, but there were some treasure maps, kaleidoscopes, and a few gold coins included so I guess they will do. I also received a good mix of toy items (duckies, finger puppets, yo-yos, etc.) and novelty jewelry (bracelets with pirate sayings, skull rings, tattoos) to keep him occupied for awhile. Overall a good purchase for a pirate - loving kid.

Not Pleased
I bought this for our son's birthday party in hopes to fill goodie bags with it...not a good idea- their ratio of good toys:not-so-good toys is not conducive to that at all. Their description is rather vague here but after reading several reviews I've noticed that everyone's "assortment" varies a good bit and could potentially play a big role in their satisfaction rating. I'm most unsatisfied with the ratio of the items- we got 4 bouncy balls, 2 footballs, 6 treasure maps, 8 pencils, 6 kaleidascopes (terrible), 6 gold coins, 2 rubber duckies, 4 skeletons, 6 eye patches, and 2 yo-yo's, and 4 rubber bracelets that say "swab the deck".... taking a gamble on the assortment is definitely not worth the money. If the assortment would have been listed, I would have known exactly what I was getting and would have purchased 2- but then again probably not all that for $25.
