Perfect!
These were bigger than I expected. I'm using them for a pirate themed piano incentive this year. Students decorated their treasure chests with metallic markers and the self adhesive jewels. They turned out great!

Great Center pieces!
I purchased these as centerpieces for my kid's bday party.
They are a great size, they were shipped quick and receive them in perfect condition. Because they are fairly deep I had to stuff the bottom. I put colorful jelly bean and gold coins and it make the perfect centerpiece for our half Pirate half Little Mermaid party! Also, my husband lined the chest with a gold metallic pen and that added so much more character to the chest.

Very satisfied
I was very happy with this purchase. We followed the suggestion of another person and used gold paint to touch up some areas. Very good quality!

Great for theme
These turned out to be bigger than I was expecting. I think we will use them for the loot that falls from the pinata and they can fill their own treasure box. We did ad a bit of color with a silver sharpie on the rivets after reading that tip from another consumer. Can't wait until the party! Thanks AGAIN OT.

Difficult to open
The chest is a nice size, but it is a bit difficult to open. The first time I tried to open one the corner snapped off. I would, however, recommend to a friend because they is very cute, my grandchildren love them, and they hold a very generous amount of 'treasure'.

BEST favors!!
These were the best part of my daughter's Pirate Party favors. They're really great quality and hold just enough to be neat. I took the advice of other reviewers and picked up a couple gold paint pens to color the accents (and also write the kids' names on them). They turned out GREAT!

Just As Described
We purchased these to use as center pieces for a child's Pirate party, they were great to stuff with candy rings and necklaces. They worked as great loot boxs for the kids to take home favors in.

Lots of fun
These are really cute, and the clasps seemed to hold pretty well. We used these for buried treasure at a day camp event and the kids really loved them.

Really Special Treats!
These were actually larger and of better quality than I expected! I bought the pirate cello bags and filled them with candy, then placed them in these chests along with a few other goodies. I filled the chests with shredded paper first so that the treats would 'spill' out of them like treasure, then I tied the chests partially-open with ribbon, rather than closing the lids. Very, very cute!
