Great looking coins!
These are awesome looking, much nicer than the shiny gold ones. They make great buried treasure and goody bag stuffers!

Pirate-themed 5-yr old birthday party
We hid the entire bag of coins and the boys went on a scavenger 'hunt' to find their treasure. Later we used them as markers for bingo cards. Authentic looking and inexpensive!

These were awesome! I put lots in a styrofoam Treasure Chest I made and also put some in individual treasure chests I made for each child out of diaper wipes boxes. I thought they were great. You cannot find anything more perfect for a pirate party at the price and quantity!

Kids loved these!
We used these to decorate our son's treasure chest birthday cake and put the extra in the pinata. The kids thought these were much cooler than the shiny gold coins, because they looked like pirate gold. Nice amount in the package for the price.

These were gotten again to fill the pinata for my son's birthday party. Great and love the amount you get for the price

These coins are awful
The reason that these coins are awful is because the paint on it is absolutely terrible. They look like someone threw the paint out and some paint landed on some areas of the coins and some did not. They are awful and DO NOT recommend these at all. I will be asking for a refund on this product. Not presentable at all.

Bought the pirate coins for Halloween. Very disappointed to hand out items with the paint flaking of on my hands and in the bag.

They look good

These were a real hit at my 3 yr old son's birthday party. We had several goodie bag type items including these, and the children really enjoyed them. They definitely have that real 'Pirate treasure' look (in the eyes of a child)

I'm in the disappointed camp
I was expecting these to be sort of like chuck e cheese tokens, only 'bronzed' looking. I didn't expect them to look and feel like deflated plastic discs. They'll be adequate as table decor for our adult pirate-themed office party. But afterward I had been planning to pass them out to kids on a pirate cruise as treasure, but they just don't have a real treasure feel to them. I think the kids would be like "Thanks, uh, but no thanks", versus "Wow! I just got a little bit of real pirate gold!"
They should at least be made of a plasticy thickness and material that allows them to "ching" when they hit a table top. Not go "plat" like a potato chip. I'd even of taken the "clink" of a casino chip.
