Red & White Snowflake Favor Boxes
too much work
You have to punch out all of the snowflakes yourself! It's a lot of work for 30+ treat boxes!

nice for what it is
I like the sleeve that fits over the box and the size is really nice for a favor box. But, I think the sleeve would be much better in a silver foil finish. I would pay extra for that. Also, the sleeve had to be punched out. 108 sleeves = a lot of man hours to punch out the little "chads".

The boxes are very flimsy and need to be taped inside for strength. You must punch holes in hundreds of the white covers that fit over the boxes. I did not use them because I thought they looked cheap.

Be aware that this is a small box. We were planning to put cookies in it, but you could only fit 2 or 3 in there. Better for something small like jewelry. The cut-outs are very intricate and pretty. Overall it is a nice item and quality made - just really small.

REALLY CUTE BOX
BOX IS REALLY CUTE, BUT - A BIG BUT - THE HOLES ARE NOT CUT OUT - YOU WILL NEED TO PUNCH THEM OUT BY HAND - TOOK A REALLY LONG TIME!

I bought only 2 units, to package Christmas gifts for our volunteers. I wish the description had mentioned that 1)You have to deal with the lacy snowflakes not being fully punched out, so you have to pull all the extra material out of each little hole in every single piece; and 2)The snowflake sleeve isn't so much a sleeve as a wrap that you have to attach with your own adhesive. The red box does NOT slide out of the "sleeve" once you've wrapped it, and you have to tape it shut or use some other adhesive of your own. With only two units of these boxes, I'm already sick of assembly; I hope that anyone else who purchases these has LOTS of time on their hands.

While these are nice looking, you must pop out all the little, tiny sections of the white die cut cover. No where in the description does it tell you this.

Nice boxes, but a pain to assemble!
I wouldn't have purchased these boxes had I known what the "simple" assembly would entail. For each box, I had expected that I'd have to assemble the small red box and then wrap some kind of paper/cardboard sleeve around it. What I didn't count on was having to remove all the little bits of paper from each white sleeve to create the snowflake pattern. Once I got the hang of it, it went more quickly, but the project that I had assumed might take 20 minutes ended up taking well over an hour. Also, some of the sleeves were not punched properly, so sometimes I had to wrestle a bit with them to get the paper bits all the way out.
That said: If you don't mind punching out little bits of heavy paper from around the snowflake patterns while you're watching TV, and you really like the look of these little boxes, they're a pretty decent value. I just hate to think of what a pain it would be to purchase these if you didn't have the time to invest in putting them all together.

I like it
the box is nice and i think it will look good assembled, which i havent done yet. but i have to warn. i needed 60 of them and the "lace" is not popped out. this is going to be a pain in the you know what. so if you need a lot of them, keep this in mind.

These come with the "snowflake" design on a separate piece of paper where each "snowflake" must be punched out which is tedious and messy.
They then have to be put on the box with no instructions.
They are way beyond my patience level.
