All the kids loved it!
I used these in a large group with kids ranging from age 4 through 6th grade and each child really enjoyed making their own masterpiece. They couldn't help but turn out beautiful. The BOYS were the ones who wanted to take another one home to do later. I was very impressed with the brilliant colors of sand and how well the adhesive held it.
Note: As others, we did have difficulty peeling just the top layer off until we discovered how much easier it was to start peeling each section from a corner where it met up with another section, not along the outside edge.

Excellent for all ages!
I got these for my church kiddos to do on a Wednesday night. We had from ages 5-12 and everybody absolutely loved doing these. A few even wanted to do more than 1. They're so easy to do, no gluing required, and plenty of sand. I really liked the peeling stickers vs. glue-I never would have thought of that! There are 3 patterns in the package, so everybody got to choose the one they liked best. I will definitely be buying more of these in the future.

Frustrating For Kids
I have purchased this product in the past and loved it. However, the quality is poor compared to last year. Although the finished product is beautiful about 1/3 of the items were not usable; bent and broken backing, paper and adhesive already peeling off, etc. The magnets that came with the craft did not have sufficient adhesive backing and needed to be glued. I did not have any of these issues the last time I ordered. Very disappointed as I was expecting the same product that I received before, not a cheap look alike.

Quality has gone down on this product.
My children look foward to this craft every year in Vacation Bible School but this year the quality was terrible! When they pulled the strips of paper off to pour on the sand, many of the items were damaged. Some were even falling apart when we took them out of the packaging. I was very disappointed.

Pretty craft
This craft is very pretty, but I thought it would be bigger that it is. Over all an easy to essemble craft.

Quick and easy craft
I purchased these for my teen girl class at VBS this year. It was a quick and easy craft for them to do. The only problem we had was in getting the magnet to stick to the back of the product. Luckily, I had a bottle of glue, and we used that to hold the magnet in place. Other than that, I thought this kit was an excellent value for the price paid!

Quality not there
The adhesive layers were seperating from the cardboard backing on about 1/3 of these. We had to fix them before using. Not a good quality even for massed produced crafts.

Do not buy
These were so disappointing - the sheets that you are to tear off in order to sprinkle the sand on this product -- did not work -- the papers tore and you could not use the sand as it would not stick to the product. Do not waste your money and buy this
