useful party favor
We used these at a baby shower. They all worked well for party games, matched the other favors, etc. The extras have had heavy use at my office for almost two weeks without any failures. Good pens, good price, cute addition to the party and party bags.

For goody bags, but I did NOT try them before handing them out.
Great addition to goody bags with jungle theme, however I didn't think to test the pens before handing them out, so I cannot say if or how well they worked.

Was exactly what was needed
We do a women's retreat and our theme has to do with WILD so the jungle/safari themed items are great. Oriental Trading is the first place I look when I am looking for favors.

Fun Pens!
What a fun addition to our Safari Themed event. We added these to our Animal Print Tote Bags and notepads. It's just that little something 'extra' that makes the totes special! The great price was just an added bonus!

Bad batch?
Wow, I'm surprised by the rave reviews for this product. Maybe we received a bad batch of pens. I just asked Oriental Trading Co. for a refund or merchandise credit for these. It was the only disappointment at my daughter's safari b-day party. The pens broke within minutes of use. I mean falling apart, writing poorly, broke. We ended up throwing them out and using other pens at the party. A complete waste.

Good deal
The cord wasn't as hefty as I thought it would be, but it is OK. I wanted one, so when I'm at school I have a pen that stays with me! A long as I remember to click it back into the cap, I'm good to go!
