Clips don't work very well
These are okay if you want to make clip-on earrings out of something very light (maybe little stars made of construction paper?) that might last until kids can take them home from a birthday party. With heavier materials (beads, clay) the self-adhesive pieces will not hold at all. Also, the earrings are too small to use with children under 6 or 7.

Disapponting
I would have preferred fewer units for the price, at a higher quality, The tension is too tight and the metal is of relatively low quality.

Adhesive not necessary
Although upon reading the description of the adhesive was an incentive, it's not useful for making earrings with heavier beads. I would suggest using a glue gun. Fortunately, it's not that difficult to remove the adhesive foam material. Overall, the product is sufficient for making clip-on earrings and the clip part is tight enough to stay on ears without slipping off.
