I really liked this kit because it was appropriate for the theme. The only thing is that it has a lot of little things to clue. I had to do all the badges on my own. I put the done badges on the candy favor boxes with the names of the kids attending. The guest really loved the idea and the kids thought it was cool to put on thier own badge with their name on it.

CUTE!
so YES you have to assemble EVERY piece but it says so right in the product description. My son is having a cowboy party and I actually made these myself to put in the goodie bags so the kids could wear them during the party. I omited the star sequin and wrote each child's name instead. They turned out super cute and my son loves them! He can't wait to have the kids wear them at his party! :)

Looks Great When Complete!
These were bought for a singing convention where the theme was 'Saddle Up'. These stars were gifts to other chorus' and EVERYONE LOVED THEM! There also looked great on vests, hats, bandanas, etc. The only down-side was the time it takes to assemble 108 of these. The easiest adhesive is a hot glue gun but the pieces are so small that you will burn yourself a lot; however, if your willing to wait for drying time any other glue will work. If you are willing to put in the effort and time, these are GREAT! But these are not self adhesived and are in a lot of pieces, so be for-warned.

Will never shop at Oriental Trading again!!!
Cheap product all the way!! You have to glue the pin on the back? This is a horrible, cheap looking kit where you have to glue every piece together on your own. This is supposed to be a kit for kids and without hot glue gun you can not glue the pin to the foam. Hot glue gun and little kids do not go hand in hand. Terribly cheap looking as well. Will never buy from online companies again, esp from Oriental Trading.

easy to make
This is a very easy craft for young kids to make and feel successful and proud of the end product. A bit of glue to secure the pin on the back is needed however. Extra parts are included which was helpful. I would order again.

I like that each set is individually packaged so I don't have to count out the items for each child. A
