Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for sneaking in exercise Also being used as rewards for good behavior at a home for foster boys. By burning off excess energy, there will be even more good behavior.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap product, fiberglass splinters I purchased these kites (this pattern as well as the cool sun, spring bugs, color-your-own, and the tye-dye kites available here on OTC-100 total) to use as decor and give-a-ways for our Kids Church. The theme is "Fly Higher with Christ" so we wanted to give every child a kite to take home. These kites were cheap so I didn't expect much. However, the poles are made out of fiberglass and I got splinters in my fingers while assembling. I am nervous to give them out as prizes at my church in fear of the children getting the fiberglass splinters while trying to get them to fly, let alone simply handling them.. Also, the assembly instructions are extremely vague and didn't help much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please do not waste your money I wish I had taken the reviews seriously. Please don't waste your money on these kites. The instructions are bad, they don't fly at all. The kids were disappointed and sad. Very bad purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth the Hassle These were set out at a company picnic as part of a children's play area that included other items such as Frisbees and bubbles. As others had mentioned, the instructions were impossible to understand. We tried to set up a few in preparations but ended up leaving a lot of them out for parents and kids to do. It ended up being a mess of string. The plastic for the kite and it's structure were both flimsy and cheap. The plastic rods snapped and the kite itself was easy to tear. If you want a true, functional kite, you are better off investing in a real nylon kite.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I was extremely disappointed I was extremely disappointed in these kites. I took my Kindergarten Class outside on a mildly windy day, perfect for flying kites. I had my kids outside, I put the first kite together, and when the student tried to fly it, the piece that is suppose to hold the cross rods in broke and the rod went right through it. I am very unhappy about this and probably won't ever buy from this site again. This is the first time I used it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I buy kites all the time at otc kids like to fly them. and that way the parents can sit and marvel how long they stay up. Most of the time the kids put them together by there self.
