The idea is adorable but all pieces have to be glued on. Hard to complete during the time allotted for a class party. Would be perfect it the could be just be put together like most foam pieces that have the sticky on them.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by SpeechieSimmy Cute but Frustating for Kids
I am a speech pathologist and made this craft with my students in fifth grade. The description says it is for kids 8 and up and that is true - this craft is not appropriate for the little kids. It involves gluing the different pieces together which was extremely frustrating for most of the students. Elmer's glue was not strong enough for the parts to stick together, so a lot of the little piggies fell apart. I think the craft may have worked better using a hot glue gun, which is not an option for me in my school setting.
However, the end result is super cute - both the boys and girls loved the pigs on skateboards! (That is, those that did not fall apart).

I got these for 4th grade valentine's craft. All the kids loved this boys and girls. Very easy to put together, but fun. Kids got a little creative with them. Love that they are packaged individually. These have been one of my favorite crafts. I do recommend glue dots. The kids really enjoyed the glue dots and it was so much easier than using glue and more practical than a glue gun if doing as class project. Glue dots held this together really well

My 4th grader chose these for a craft for her classroom Valentine's Day party. The kids really seemed to enjoy putting them together. My six year old at home put several together with no difficulty at all. Individually wrapped. The only downside is that they don't come with any kind of adhesive. We used glue dots, which worked well & we didn't have to allow for any drying time at the party (but is an added expense).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by msjelly My 2nd & 3rd Graders loved them!
I made these for my 2nd & 3rd graders for Valentine's Day and they were a huge hit! They really do need a hot glue gun to adhere fully, so I would not make these w/a whole class. I bought 4 sets and only 2 piggies were missing something in the package - one was missing a tail, which was an easy fix, and one came with two bodies, no head...which I couldn't fix - but I am satisfied with being down just one pig.

This was really cute. You do have to use hot glue. The skateboards weren't the best quality but I think they were worth it.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Laalaag33 They are nice, HARD to assemble
These were very cute online and were the one thing my niece picked specifically when I was placing my order for a Valentines Craft Party. They are decent quality and would be very cute, if we could actually put them together! I would recommend glue dots maybe, but I'm not sure if they will show or not. (We had super thick tacky glue, which I thought would work fine with 3 kids, but it was chaos, with piggy heads and limbs rolling all over the place) But if there were an easier way to put them together, they would be worth the money.)

Certainly not something for kids to DIY without supervision. Hot glue gun worked great for assembly. Everyone loved them!

purchased these as a novelty craft for a coffee club...they are so cute & you could use them for any time of year by simply just leaving off the heart!
