Great purchase Purchased four sets for a classroom to replace the old ones that would not cut well. Students liked these much better because they were easier on the fingers. They do not hold up as well to certain items as the old ones did, but for paper, thin cardboard, yarn, etc it does the job. June 24, 2011

description is misleading As I commented on a post earlier; the description of the size of these scissors is misleading. IF you need them for small children then I would recommend them. I bought the scissors based on two different reviews that said they fit the hands of junior high students. When I received the scissors that was obviously not the case. They do appear to be of good quality for small children but are not anywhere near the reported 6" in length, closer to 5" if that. October 22, 2011

Good Size I was really happy to see that these scissors are a good size for junior high students. The price is good, plus I used a pormotional code, which made them very affordable. Haven't started using them, but they look and feel sturdy. August 29, 2009

Great quality- Great deal I bought these as a classroom set about 8 years ago- they last and they fit the hands of my jr. high students. Highly recommended!! I am ordering more after 8 years - not because they broke but because some were probably stolen thru the years. August 7, 2009
